Add-on package questions

I am considering adding the SiteStudio add-on package to my reseller account but I'm still confused after reading What is SiteStudio? and any of the forum posts on it's cost and features. I've used the demo and it looks like it will do what several of my small business customers require however I need to understand the pricing structure and the process to get it operational before I can offer this as a service.

Please confirm, or correct, the following so I can understand what it takes to get this service operational:

1) I understand the installation fee is $35.00. Is this per domain or can it be installed in my reseller account and then give access to my clients for their individual domains?
2) I believe there's a $1.50/domain charge (min. 100 domains) in addition to the installation fee, is this correct? If so, do I need to buy the licenses for SiteStudio and then send the license keys to Surpass so that it can be installed by Surpass on the appropriate server?

Thanks...

Question Somewhere else?

Is there somewhere else I should ask this question since I haven't seen any responses? I didn't want to send an email to presales AND post it here so I don't create duplicate work but if they don't read this forum then maybe that's the best approach....

Comments/Suggestions?

Thanks

I would ask pre-sales and then post back here what you find out. Unless Surpass has worked out some special deal, the $1.50 per domain should still be in effect.

presales response

I sent an presales an email and they didn't respond so I eventually created a trouble ticket.

The response from Sales was

"Site studio is $35.00 one time per domain. This is a negotiable price should you like to purchase more than 5 Site Studio lisceneces at a time.

As for going directly to Site Studio and purchasing the software and lisceneses, we would not be able to install this for you unless you had your own dedicated server.
"

So apparently Surpass charges $35 for installation and a single domain (user) license. So if you're a reseller on a shared server you have to pay $35 for EACH of your customers' domains. If you have a reseller with a dedicated server then you can get it installed on your server by Surpass and pay the SiteStudio guys $1.50/user (100 user minimum).

Hopefully this "paper trail" helps other resellers understand the fees/structure...
