Good Gawd -- I cannot believe I have repost this! Gosh darn cookies!!! (Ha!) I am thinking about signing up for your reseller plan... but I do have some questions.
1) Can my clients upgrade bandwidth and drive space without upgrading to a whole new package? If yes, then how would we do this? Would we contact you guys and ask you to do it for us? Because I don't believe WHM allows a simple upgrade like that -- at least I don't think it does. Or does it??? 2) When our client's bandwidth limit reaches at 80%, do you notify us by email as a courtesy, or do we literally have to monitor all of our clients traffic to make sure they do not get suspended? 3) How do you like the auto pilot? Any probs with 2checkout? I understand that it doesn't work with the new version of 2checkout, but it works fine with the old version of 2checkout, which is what I have. Is it easy to confgure with 2checkout? I am very interested in that. Thanks in advance! :-) |

1) As far as I know, they have to upgrade to a new plan.
2) I'm pretty sure Cpanel sends an email to the one associated with the client when it reaches 80% 3) Sorry, I do not use 2checkout. Someone else will have to get this one...:ktoe:

1) Are you wanting to upgrade all users that are on a package? If so, you should be able to simply upgrade the package and all of the users also get upgraded.
2) I was under th impression (as Mobius) that you get an email as does your client 3) I use whois.cart, but if you can afford WHM Autopilot, g ofor it. Have heard very good things and I'm sure any incompatability either already has a patch or will do very soon. Best bet is to ask the developers, really as don't use 2checkout. I would be interested in finding out, though |

Addendum to point 3:
http://www.whmautopilot.com/features.php tells us the following: Integrated Gateway API All listed payment gateways will allow for full compliance of all features within the WHM AutoPilot system unless noted as non-compliant [nc]. Non-Compliancy is defined when a gateway requires all packages to be predefined at the gateway and is not capable of processing addons, coupons and integrated domain registrations with recurring products. PayPal Subscriptions (www.paypal.com) PaySystems TPP-Pro (www.paysystems.com) WorldPay FuturePay (www.worldpay.com) 2Checkout (old system) (www.2checkout.com) - [nc] NOTE: their new system is NOT supported due to it not supporting passback Authorize.net (www.authorize.net) - requires SSL (https://) |

Thanks guys... but unfortunately it seems that you guys do not know either about how to upgrade individual client's bandwidth and drive space. :hrrm:
Yah, the WHM Auto Pilot control is well worth the money too. Good to hear that CPanel keeps track of bandwidth overage and shoots out the email -- I thought it was Surpass. As for the overage fees... my question wasn't aimed towards upgrading all of my users -- because we can obviously do that by creating new plans and switching them all over to a new package. My question was with regard to a single user who only wanted extra bandwidth (or hard drive space) for a month here and there, in case they were in danger of going over and being suspended -- versus upgrading their entire package. And if they are on a yearly plan and have prepaid -- what in the heck do you do to upgrade them for just one month here and there? I suppose I could create a "special" package for each individual user if that problem ever occurs -- but that woud be a pain to keep switching several different users back and forth, month to month. There has got be an easier way to do this as a reseller. I am sure there is -- but there is no documentation on Surpass' website that explains what to do about extra bandwidth or drive space for an individual client. Anybody else know? Maybe I will just email the surpass support team. Thanks again guys. -- BlaZe -- |

you can modify bandwidth quota by account in WHM for an individual account. If you modify the package that they're part of, however, they'll be 'reset' to the package limits. The problem is that thes individual MODS don't reset back at the end of the month. You have to do so manually.
