question from beginner
i dont know hardly anything about html or making websites, and when i looked at the demo cpanel, the file manager made me really confused. right now im currently working on a site with microsoft frontpage and will probly just use it. i just want to know if thats easy for a beginner. my website will be a bunch of movies, so will i just upload my movies and pics with file manager, then use the frontpage extensions to add my site? if so where would i upload my movies and pictures to? do you have a section that explains what all the folders do in file manager?
i have just used basic sites before like geocities and freewebs so now trying to use a more experienced place im getting confused. anyone know a site that can teach me this i guess? |

Front page will publish all the content in your site, so if you have a directory with the HTML, then a subdirectory with the movies etc., frontpage will push it all - no need to use the Cpanel file manager.

Good call BigJohn. Frontpage is probably the best to start off with. WYSIWYG and FTP all in one. :hrrm:
