a few questions
1. i see that you use vb as your support forums and that the archive works, are the same features enabled IE apache, php,GD and others apply for all shared accounts?
2. what is your policy on DOS attacks? 3.do you allow such scripts that interact with IRC servers I.E. a java irc chat? 4.if your account causes high server loads by accident cause you were testing something is the person suspeneded or are they warned and forced to remove the script(s)? Also is an account given more slack about high server loads when they maybe running more than one site on their account that both include forums(vb3)? anyways thanks in advance and im looking forward to be hosted here |

Sorry, but I belive that NO BOTS of any kind are allowed, no IRC (unless you buy a dedicated server). What is the question about DOS attacks? If one happens, they'll block the IPs involved. If you did something to provoke it, perhaps they'll look at what you did - remember, there is a GOOD NEIGHBOR policy here. There may be a couple hundred others on your server. John

I think all hosting companies suspend the account.
Why would they allow a network to continue attacking a server with multiple accounts and customers. The suspension would not be permanent. However, if they continue happening, that is certainly not good and you potentially might not be able to continue hosting with any company. If you have a problem with DDOS attacks, you need to find out why you are a target and solve the problem so it is non-issue. |
