Moving from another provider

My current provider has changed the server settings and now php does not run as Apache module but as CGI. This has caused problems to my sites.

Do you offer PHP as an Apache module?

I believe that they do. The only reason a host would change to CGI based PHP would be if they upgraded to apache 2.x

2.x is a complete rewrite of apache and is not really 'production' ready, as I understand it...

Of course, only a SYSADMIN can tell you for sure. Try surpass out. YOu get a 90 day moneyback anyway...

Thank you for your reply John.

I have more than 150 clients and having this changed after I move them to a new server will be a destruction. What I am looking for is a provider that provides PHP as Apache module and will continue to do so for a long time.

I have submitted a ticket and I guess I will follow your advice and wait for an official reply. This way, I can check how much time it takes support to respond to tickets.

How did you flag the ticket? If you flagged it pre-sales or something like that you may not get a quick reply.

I do know that there is no plan to go to PHP5 until Cpanel works flawlessly with it.
Is there a value in PHPINFO that I can look for to help you out?

John
