I seem to have a problem. This isn't a rant, just a request for those more knowledgable of the process to give me some advice.

Yesterday I attempted to register a domain with surpassdomains. At the end of the process I recieved an email saying:

xxxxxxx.us registration FAILED! (Submitted for credit)

I have sent two emails to webmastersurpassdomains.com (the address listed for me to contact on the webpage and in the email) asking for help in this matter, one last night and one a few minutes ago, but have yet to receive a reply. I'm not complaining, as I'm sure that if/when the emails reach the correct person I will receive a reply. However, not having any contact with surpass on this so far has left me feeling "all up in the air" and at a loss on how to continue. So, I thought I would post a few questions to the forum and let the community give me some advice.

My first question to the group is, does anyone have an idea on why the registration would have failed? I am a US citizen, I already have one .us domain registered and so I should qualify for a .us domain, right? Would the fact I listed listed both of my .us domains as being for personal use be a problem?

My second question is, what should I do now? I have emailed, should I try to contact surpasshelp on AIM with this?

That doesn't look like a silly question to me. <g>

It was listed as being available when I did the look up yesterday before registering it.

I suppose it could have *just* been regiestered by someone else and the databases had not updated yet, but when I checked that domain for availability again today it showed up as being available.
