mod_rewrite and pre-sales

Wednesday I emailed pre-sales and asked if mod_rewrite was enabled for the accounts. (I signed up with one company on to find out they didn't nor would they enable it.) Wednesday night I came back, signed up for these forums, and found some threads about mod_rewrite, .htaccess,etc. So it would seem you do offer this.

I get an email Thursday morning telling me:
Sorry but no we do not.

(have mod_rewrite enabled.)

So, which is it? (I'm using Drupal and want the short urls to function.)

Hmm who responded to the ticket and said we don't? Because we definitely do have it enabled.

I found it odd that your forums said one thing, and the tech said another. (Wouldn't want your sales department to be the cause of a lost sale!)

And I'm considering your OC10 resale package for personal use. Can't seem to beat the features anywhere. (And believe me, I've look the last few days...)

well, it's not sold 100% on me yet. I'm currently with a smaller, newer company. Great (tremendous) service, but they've had some downtime problems. Well, a lot of them. But if they can convince me that they're "working on the problem" I may stick with them.

If not, I'll most likely end up here!
