appended bak.becaue_of_load to the name
which I can obviously change back, but am I not supposed to or what?

This whole not being able to access the ticket I was issued is throwing me, arrg

But I need to get this forum back up, so am just gonna keep posting here until I get a response from someone, or access to this ticket that was created, or something

Have you considered responding to the ticket that was sent to you about this? I see you ran into some problems with the ticketing system earlier, but everything should be working just fine at this point.

& why is cpanel taking even longer than everything else to load on this server? I keep getting error messages about a script taking too long or has stopped responding.

eta the ticket is not listed in my account at all, still, so can't reply (I don't try to reply via email as that's been problematic before)

so, getting no response so far, figured maybe I should back up the renamed database in case surpass doesn't let me name it back for some reason. cpanel shows this db as just under 75 megs. I go into phpmyadmin & it says there are zero tables.

now, admittedly I'm no db expert, but does this possibly mean surpass dumped my entire database? cuz if that's the case, I'm gonna be not happy, to put it mildly.

yeah, he replied just after I posted, but I'm still so confused, he copied another email (from the ticket I cannot access I think) that I'd never seen, & that one told me to only reply via email? But I posted on the same ticket I opened, hoping to get this figured out. If it is something screwy with the forum software, I'd obviously like to get it fixed, but I was running the latest version of smf, dunno what's up.

& my other sites on this server are still slow to load on & off, sigh

so, no reply to me last night (as of around midnight anyway) and now I cannot access mail servers (timeout) or get any sites to load ('the server is taking too long')

what is going on??
