SH105 goes down intermittently

Some of my site visitors have been pointing this out for couple of weeks now but I never experienced it for a while until a few days ago. At random times it seems that SH105 goes down for around 15-30 minutes at a time. (Such a spurt is happening as I post this.)

All services seem to be affected (apache, smtp, ftp mainly) and the server responds to ping. Also nothing comes up on the server status page. (I just took a look right now and there's no mention on SH105's services having troubles.) When I try to access my site via Firefox it simply stalls while waiting for a response. Everything else that I've tried times out.

The last time this happened was about three or four days ago in which the site was inaccessible for about half an hour. At the time I've posted this it's been about five minutes since I was able to access my site aside from pinging the server.

I have also gone and submitted a ticket for this same issue. (Ticket CRL-368050)

I also doubt that this is of any relation to the previous problem on SH105 where apache was restarting at the same time every day.

EDIT: It seems to have come back up after 10 minutes, but as this seems to be a recurring problem hopefully this can be looked into.

Have you opened a ticket with the helpdesk? They can look into it for you. You could also post the ticket ID here too, in case any staff members stop in they can check out the ticket.

Yeah, that's what happened to me. The page hung for a loooooong time (45 seconds or so) and I just closed the tab and started to type it again, then it was posted twice.
