SH110 - Delayed Connections

So this error comes up every couple of days... sometimes everyday.

Whats the point of having a server status if nothing gets fixed?

Am I just to supposed to go... "oh yeah.. there's that error again" and nod my head in a knowing way?

Yep.... ignorance is bliss!

Ok, okay, enough of me trying to be funny. I see that apache was restarted around 11pm last night. Was that around the time you saw this error? I also see people were watching the server and also that some permissions were changed on some files, so abuse was probably the culprit of the need to restart apache.

That would be about right.. I posted at 10:31 CDT (11:31 EDT).

But I guess my concern is that this has been going on for the last few weeks. And no, I didnt open a ticket..

I just hope it gets better..

I'll keep an eye on it, those files may have been the culprit over the last few weeks however because it was off and on we had to catch it while it was happening to be sure. Please always feel free to submit a ticket if you see that your site is inaccessible.

Make sure you tell them "Kelly said to fix it ASAP or she'll beat you up."

But yes, I will keep an eye on the server for a few days.

So this is the response I get.

Again, WHAT IS THE POINT OF A SERVER STATUS PAGE IF NO ONE USES IT OR MONITORS IT.

These delayed connection errors appear on the SERVER STATUS page. My traceroutes are irrelevant. The issues are being reported directly from the SERVER.

Is there no history kept from the server status page?

Can someone willing to do some troubleshooting look at this?
