Hello,
I am confused about this option. I downloaded the WHM help files but still I am scratching my head. Most of the time I learn by trying but when something says Quote:
![]() Is this another form of sub domain? How can I use it and why would I use it? Thanks

DNS zones are already set when you create an account. For example.. when you create an account you see that DNS entries are assigned to the account (which include nameservers that are our 2 IPs). Modifying a DNS zone would be actually raw editing that account and setting it to different IPs (such as if you have custom DNS with your own dedicated IPs, rather than recycling our IPs). This actually can interfer with the entire workings of all DNS zones on the server, so we do not allow any client to modify them, and if they for some reason need something changed, an email to support can get that taken care of.
