Is anyone having problems viewing their site or email on Saprus? I contacted support about it, and they told me that there, in fact, is no problem with Saprus and that I should use alertra.com to verify this. Here is the list of errors from Alertra.

Some parts of my site come up very slowly, but I am timed out after a while and I can't get email at all. Is anyone else hosted on this thing having problems?

interesting, when i try to check mail, for example, i get:

Notice: (null)(): Connection failed to localhost,143: Connection refused (errflg=2) in Unknown on line 0

and

Could not connect to mail server mail.postbaroque.com; the connection was refused.

and

ERROR
Error connecting to IMAP server: localhost.
111 : Connection refused


if i want to ftp:

I've send ticket to support and they've told me they are working on fixing that. Now all seems to work fine.

saprus seems to be down again this morning; at least my site - i don't know any other sites on saprus i can check. here's the info i found on alertra:

Looks like someone's about to be suspended for overloading the server. That's extreme load right there.

It was actually due to DNS clustering still enabled on the server... server has been fine though the past hours.

I am making another announcement now on the Saprus thread that no one should be using ns100/ns101.. and DNS clustering is off for good now on this server.
