ASP.Net Reseller Package

I still do not understand why Surpass is not giving us this package. Are they forcing us to buy costly and time consuming VPS or DS?

Many of our customers are telling us to add this feature. You surpass guys can take few extra bucks if addtion of this feature costs you so much.

I hope surpass will understand our needs.

ASP does not run on Linux and the ASP mod for Linux does not work correctly, from what has been said previously. Linux is free, Windows is not (by far). If you want ASP, than you need a Windows OS server and Surpass does not offer Shared Windows based servers. My assumption of this would be because there aren't enough people wanting ASP to justify the additional cost.

For justification may be you should start a poll. Without the demand there wouldn't have so many ASP.Net hostings. I think surpass will gain many customers for ASP.Net hosting. At least you can start with one server for test.

Starting a poll on the forum won't prove anything but who on the forum wants it. And if you want to judge demand by going by how many have ASP hosting, you also have to consider how many don't as well.

yeah, in popularity terms, ASP is low. MANY websites and hostees of surpass only use php, etc which can be ran on linux securely.

So, if somehow Microsoft (I HIGHLY doubt this will ever happen) opens support for other OSs, then possibly. Also, it is still unlikely if the language is not free after a multiplateform release.
