Files are being written over?

Hi guys,

My clients files (about 2 or 3 of them so far) and also mine have parts of their files deleted. All files which were affected were writeable (666 or 777). Are any of you experiencing such a problem?

Perhaps someone is messing with your sites. Files should be 644 by default.

No one can really know if that's what is happening without more information. You haven't posted a link to your site so we can't check it outselves to see the errors. What are the database errors you are getting? What server are you on? If you can't log into WHM, it could be that your cpanel password has been changed. You can reset it yourself by going to yoursite.com/cpanel and have your password reset and emailed to you.

Hope it all gets resolved. For future reference though, you should put a link to your site in your signature.
