Java Serverlets
Just wondering if I can run Java Serverlets (.jsp) on my server? If so any special configuration required? I believe they might need to be in a special folder.

Yep! Since JSP files are good at consuming tons of resources, you're going to actually need to grab a WebDev account (if you don't already have one).
You can find out more about the WebDev accounts here: http://www.surpasshosting.com/webdev/ Here's a quick list of the extras they provide and what they support: http://www.surpasshosting.com/faq/in...&highlight=jsp |

WebDev accounts are not for websites that use high amounts of resources. It's understandable if they will use more then a plain HTML website and they exist to provide a better atmosphere for programmers, however truly intensive sites need to consider VPS or dedicated.
