I'm having the worst day of my life
First, Surpass didn't let it be known that I wouldn't get my login info until I paid the balance on another hosting plan that I have. I was planning to get it within 48 hours and so I cancelled my old reseller plan and make full backups.
Second, my old reseller plan had a backup link in the WHM, but to my surprise...not in Surpass. So I have 4 sites waiting to be switched over, and no way to restore the full backups. In my main site, it took the backup but it's just sitting there on the server. With one of my client's domains, it uploaded the home directory but not the databases so I still have to start completely over. I'm so pee'd about the whole situation. Any advice on how I could restore these?

Are you on a shared server now, or a reseller server? If you are on a shared server, no that will have no way to restore the "full backup" as WHM does not come on a shared hosting account.
You can however place the full backup in your home directory, and open a ticket at http://desk.surpasshosting.com and ask them to do the restore for you. Once your ticket gets answered, it's something that they can do rather quick.

Yep the above applies. Place the full backup somewhere in your account and raise a ticket with the filename and the account you want it placed on. I had a couple done this morning after struggling yesterday with trying to do it all myself by using home-directory backups and mysql backups. - Nightmare - Getting the full backup done by an admin is easy and fast.
couple of things to watch out for. It will change passwords and package settings to what it was on your old server so you might have to reset to what new hosting plan you wanted to give. You might temporarily loose access if your old WHM account name is different to your current one. Either raise a ticket to get it fixed or let them know in advance to look out for that.

i managed to restore 2 of my client's sites perfectly fine. all i had to do was recreate the databases.
but one of my sites under my old reseller was the one with the whm access and the other was already hosted on surpass but upgraded to a reseller account. i'm slowly figuring out. (its my first time restoring backups) thanks for all your help...you made my day better! EDIT: The other didn't work because the tar.gz file is corrupt.

Yes but my last hosting company let me create new plans with unpaid balances on my other plans. And most companies I know of let you know that it's going to delayed until you pay the outstanding balance. Would have been helpful to know seeing as they charged me for 4 days when I didn't even have the information. I'm really considering switching to another company though because my patience is too short to deal with a server being down after one day of being on it.
