Question Bandwidth Issue

My site (the one I purchased the reseller account with) keeps going down because of too much bandwidth being used. The problem is, it's not the bandwidth on that site that's going over, but the bandwidth from a site hosted on the reseller. So both sites are down by the end of each month.

If bandwidth goes over, only that site gets suspended. WHM will not suspend any other sites. I would recommend upgrading your reseller plan to higher. That would be the only option if you are regularly out of bandwidth

The site doesn't use up its own bandwidth, but the bandwidth of the site I signed up for the reseller account with.

Your main site will only get 10GB of bandwidth for free. You can always talk to Surpass Support (http://desk.surpasshosting.com) about paying for extra bandwidth for your main account (and not your reseller account bandwidth) so you won't have to worry about that problem. Or you can pay $10 to change your main domain account, and then have your original domain under your reseller account, as opposed to the other way around.

Abuse and bandwidth problems seem to get routed to the abuse department. I have seen tickets take longer in that department than what support tickets do. I am sure someone will get to your ticket soon though.

You may want to just upgrade your reseller plan, or as jordanriane mentioned, move your main site over to one that you can control with WHM and then you can allocate however much you are allowed to use based on your reseller plan.
