Transferring Data

I've got around two gigs of data I need to transfer from an old server to a new surpass account. The data is located with another company (a non-web hosting company) and we're trying to figure out the best way to do a 'transfer' of data.

I know one can be done using cpanel and we could also utilize SSH to do it, however I don't know which is best, nor what Surpass charges for either. The SSH login wouldn't be something we'd need for too long really, so its not really worth paying the (15 dolalrs for? unless its what we need to do). Do you guys still offer cpanel transfers? Are there any other options?

Thanks. :p

Cpanel transfers are allowed, but it generally comes from another Cpanel server. Sounds like your data is not on a Cpanel server from your first email.

The good news is now that SSH is now offered free for all accounts except for a select few:

[Policy change] Jailed SSH access, now free.

Fee free to drop a ticket to support to see what they can do for you, and if there will be any charges.

Thanks,

The server is *cpanel* I just wrote that when I was a tad bit tired.

I'll look into all of the options we have. Its not a *hosting* company, but they're a company of sorts.

Thanks.

All I know is Suprass helped me move around 6 gigs of data from another server I had which was beyond helpful! I could have never done that, so you can always ask them in the support desk area.
