Pass70, down again...

Whats up with the pass70??
I lost connection with it earlier today, when I was doing some major updates... Sent a ticket, but it has not been answered by tech staff yet.. Its been down for something like 5 hours now, even though I made a ticket just after it went down.

Anyone have any update/info regarding this??

Well, that response did not help in any way... That support is so overloaded that they are not able to bring a server up in almost one whole working day, does not really assure me that my customers are in the best hands...

This is not the first time my sites are down for an extended periode, and I do belive that it is time to be straight forward about what is going on... I really did belive that things would be better when I was moved from the Pass33 but so far, it does not look promising...

Maybe it is about time to think about another host, if Surpass is not able to deliver what they are promising, and what is expected of them. I am perfectly aware that it is sunday today, but for a «seriouse» host like Surpass, they should really manage to get some information out to their customers when a server goes down for a periode like this... It is not normal to use so many hours to adress the problem, and resolve it... And not even inform anyone about what is going on...

I am really dissapointed with Surpass now...

When I click the link in your signature, it gives me an internal server error. That shows the server is for sure not down. Do you have any htaccess files with things that modify php in them? Are you able to even see the internal server error page?

Well, I am not able to ping any of the domains that I have on pass70, I do not get any Internal Error, only «The connection has timed out», and I have not modified the htaccess files on the domains either.

As far as I know, if it was trouble with one of my domains, some of those others would work..

Finally also got a response from tech support, they blamed it on some difficulties with the ClickBE links in the home folder, and promised to get back with an explanation of why it happened very soon. They also explained that they were working on it now. But I still do not understand why it should take so much time. And why is the traceroute hanging??
