can reseller ssh access owned accounts?
hi,
i have a question about the reseller's ssh access. i am a reseller and i have a ssh access. however, this can only access my main reseller accoount. is there a way to access to accounts owned by me (accounts that are under my reseller account)? or is it only for reseller account. and no other use? thanks..

You would think that a reseller should have access to their (reseller) owned accounts since the reseller already has access via WHM.
What this answered before in a thread somewhere? |

Nope, with the way cPanel does jailshell setup, the primary account only has access to its own files when SSH access is enabled.

Ahh yeah jailshell.
The reseller should be able to request SSH for those accounts that they manage. One wouldn't really want the sub accounts talking the service provider about SSH. I don't remember seeing that response in the other long SSH thread. |
