in fact looking at my signature the load picture is not showing which means it is down I would assume since it is showing when I can reach them.

using gmail to connect to my email it is unable to reach them as well so google is telling me they are down so it can't be my isp's right?

Fixed -- looks like there was a firewall problem. We're going to tweak it shortly so this doesn't happen again.
