So much drama..

I see so many server issues here, which leads me to wonder, what servers are performing good? I'll soon sign up for BOGO (once my funding comes into PayPal), but would liek ot know if many or just a few servers experience these issues.

We have almost 100 reseller servers, and over 130 shared hosting servers -- most of them run at low load, and have excellent uptime. You're only seeing the occasional issue with a small number of servers here ...

Well said
With the freedoms of the reseller environment there is a limited amount we can do to prevent abuse without constraining account abilities. We will always have to combat a certain level of security breaches and resource abuse as it is a compromise while providing flexible account limits and boundaries. Exploitable outdated software by resellers whom do not properly maintain their resold accounts and small resellers eager for business not performing fraud checks accepting jokers ready to spam and exploit are common on ALL networks reseller servers.

When it boils down its still our fault, but we act as fast as possible and are ALWAYS working for you, our clients, and improving our software, mechanisms and models.

Aw, thank you both for your information. I was sure that it wasn't like this for all servers, but it gives me a idea now.

I will still be purchasing the $15 reseller on a 1 year prepaid. Also, you're doign great removed As well as the other staff here too.

Maybe you are seeing only the general picture, I posted one of the messages about the problems on pass59, but hey! I didn't mention on the same message that this is the first time in over a year that troubles grew so big to attract my attention. In general all my costumers (I bought a reseller plan) NEVER complain and it all work just like a breeze. Surpass is a really great place to start a web related business, the tech support guys really respond on time when you post a ticket to them. So... Don't be afraid and welcome aboard!

And, always remember...when things are going well, people just go about their lives...it's when a problem occurs that people become vocal. So, for every "complaint", there are many, many satisfied customers.

I wish everyone understood this concept

I would just be happy with some people understanding the concept that in the shared environment you are just one person on a server with many others. you don't play nice on the server you ruin it for everyone else and need to get off and go play on your own server!
