Angry Constant DNS troubles, no resolutions so far...

My site http://www.romandesign.ca is down several times a day each day for about a week now. I've been told that it's fine but it's not! It's not just my ISP - independant monitoring service shows those downtimes and here is what alertra.com shows right now:

It's happening all over the world and it's happening constantly, so there is definitely a serious issue here! I hope someone can do something soon, because I'm losing money because of this... BTW I have no idea which server I'm on...

Looks like you are on Pass 64.

Pass64, 66.7.194.215, ns1064.dizinc.com/ns1065.dizinc.com

Appears others are having trouble with this server, you may want to post in the thread already established for Pass64

Why is PASS 64 email ALWAYS DOWN

As always, follow up with submitting a ticket to the helpdesk.

Yes, I second that. I am experiencing the same thing on pass64 for a few weeks now. My reseller account goes down several times a day and every time I submit a ticket, they always tell me it's fine. So when it went down again, I checked it directly using http://pass64.dizinc.com/~myreselleraccountusername and sure enough, it's up and running. So, my question now is this. Where does the fault occurs, on my registrar or surpass' domain servers assigned to pass64, which are ns1064.dizinc.com and ns1065.dizinc.com?

I have a feeling it's in the domain server since I don't think the settings on my domain name on my registrar will intermittently go down and come back again after a few hours. I subcribed to siteuptime and it usually emails me that my site is down for about two hours everytime it goes down (they check every 60 mins). The last downtime, it reported that my site was inaccessible for 480 mins (8 hours!!!).

I though it looks to me like a DNS problem. When the server is down it looks differently I think - timeouts etc., but the name is just not resolving or I get 403 forbidden error... Who knows... I hope level3 support will fix it soon, it's vital for me.

Well, I guess it's just the domain name server that having the problem. After I submitted a ticket quoting what I posted here, I can see my site again when I checked it again after 15 minutes. I rechecked it using alertra.com and dnstuff.com and it resolving properly again now, whereas it wasn't before I submitted the ticket. They probably just restarted the service or rebooted the server. What concerns me though is the frequency of it happening. I really hope they can fix the problem on their end as I know now that it's not the fault of my registrar.

Can you guys provide me with the ticket numbers that you've already submitted about this issue? I'm going to talk with the techs who worked on these problems to see if they missed anything, or if there's anything else that they can do.
