I vote this gets a sticky! Not because it was done by me (well, maybe a little) but because it would help a good chuck of resellers.

do we really have to have that confirm part of the script for this to work as it is rather annoying.

Yes, for it needs to send the information that is processed on that page. There might be a more simplistic approach that'll make it easier, but yeah :P

I'll check into it sometime.

ah. Well at the very least then I may recode that part of the script so it at least fits into my website theme.

I just found this link.

Sorta looks promising however I haven't tried it yet. Looks like it doesn't require you to click any confirm button. Also I'm not sure how old this script is.

Well, that method does work, and I might update it to that. The only thing this that it isn't as secure. That being, browser history may store it. So, it probably wouldn't be the best thing to do, but that does depend on the browser.

my method collects the login data as well as processes further data. the confirm is to send the full package to the server, using a post method to the /login/ but not showing any information in the URL.

So, it could be done, but it might be less secure then. Just checking such a circumstance, my browser did remember the URL, username and all. But then again, I just entered it into my address bar :P

Yeah i wasn't sure how secure it was as I haven't even bothered to try it as of yet.

Any update on a script that doesn't require you clicking on a confirm link.

I only want it for a cpanel demo login form anyways so it doesn't have to be secure.
