test of WP2.5 so far looks great! I'll try out all my plugins later. Hopefully none of the ones I really need will break.
I still want 2.3 to work though... I better PM Mike and see if he can help with that. |

I found the fix, it's pretty easy. Too bad Support still hasn't figured it out after 24 hours, LOL! I just updated my ticket and let them know what I found.
All I had to do was login to cPanel and change the PHP Configuration to use PHP4 instead of PHP5. I never even noticed that PHP icon in there before. So it really was a PHP5 issue, since everything is working fine again using PHP4. It's one of those things that is just too easy, so you overlook it. |

My blog works fine with PHP5 as well. I actually have a couple scripts now that will only work properly with PHP5. I think it's one of my RSS XML parsing scripts.

okay I am on shared hosting, but strangely, my wordpress mu would nog work properly, claiming mem was not sufficient (mem exhausted errors). Solved by putting php.ini files with min 32 mb of mem in several subdirs of my wp install. works great now. let me know if I can help you with it.

I'm on reseller, pass 66 and have had this problem on all my wp blogs today. I've put a php.ini of "memory_limit=64M" onto the same folder of the WordPress install so now the blogs work. But I can't get onto wp-admin and one of my pages that uses the fGallery plugin doesn't work
http://robcubbon.com/photos/album/snaps/ I'll try putting this php.ini into various folders and let you know how I get on. Cheers.

Putting the php.ini in the wp-admin directory made the WordPress dashboard and backend work properly. Putting it into wp-content/plugins/fgallery/ made this page work
Freelance designer and artworker in London Meanwhile I've had this from support: "Our admins are currently working on upgrading php and mysql on this server. Once these upgrades are complete, your sites will again work properly." So, I'm going to wait for that to finish before I do anymore. Once this is all sorted out I think I should probably upgrade from wp 2.3.3 to 2.5!
