Wordpress blogs broken
Something changed on Pass74 and now NONE of my users wordpress blogs work. Support basically said they know, some sites won't work after what they did.
Does Surpass management really think it's acceptable to break everyones sites with an "upgrade" for PHP? Why not simply allow scripts to use more memory, since that's the error I'm getting? It would take 2 seconds to change the server global php.ini file. Instead, I'm supposed to make a php.ini file in every single directory that calls a php script?? If it worked before, they should be able to keep it working when upgrading servers. Certainly I'm not the only customer seeing this? |

The memory error is common with WordPress. It happens on our brand new servers as well. We haven't heard of any problems with any other scripts - only WordPress.
Did you place the .ini file and are the blogs working now?

Kayla-
I placed the .ini file, but I have to put it in a lot of places. And wordpress works now, but not the way it used to. I not longer get the "code" and regular editors when creating a new post. No WYSIWYG either, it's just a plain old text box. Support says thats a wordpress setting. I beg to differ, since it didn't stop working until yesterday, and on ALL wordpress sites on my hosting account. I have a couple of upset wordpress users now, I'm not real pleased with it either. I've been dealing with tech stuff at work for the past week that doesn't work, and have worked a lot of 16-20 hour days dealing with it, so I got extra grumpy when I came home and found my webhosting was messed up too ![]() Any additional help with this would really be appreciated! I'm at a loss as to what to do. |

What did you put in your php.ini?
I had the same problem, but after adjusting the memory_limit in my php.ini, the errors were fixed. Also, after adjusting your php.ini, try uploading all of wordPress' files again. |

I'm going to try to re-upload all the wordpress files and see if that helps. One of the installs needs upgraded to the latest version anyway. |

Some plugins don't work, and some themes don't work... I use the fluency admin theme on it. They really changed the admin panel's look, but it is more productive. |
