Using Multiple Reseller Accounts from Different Hosting Companies

I have a reseller account with Surpass and I also have a reseller account with another separate hosting company. Is it possible to install WHMCS on one of my reseller accounts (Surpass for example) but still use my hosting reseller accounts from both companies.

For example, if I offered Standard and Premium hosting packages on my website, would I be able to host the Premium packages with my Surpass reseller account and then host the Standard packages with my reseller account from the other company? I hope this makes sense.

It could be a little confusing at first, but it's definitely something that can be done. Your users won't really see any problems from it. I think it's just a matter of how you organize it for yourself.

Could you briefly explain how I would go about doing this though WHMCS? Also, can I do this using one domain so that my clients won't be able to notice? Do I have to do something with nameservers so that ns1 and ns2 would be for the Standard accounts and ns3 and ns4 would be for the premium?

Be very very careful, I tried this not so long ago using the same domain name on two seperate reseller accounts (i did it whilst testing out another account before a moved here)
Basically it screwed all the emails up held on the primary reseller account they went into a big black hole, only recoverable when i repointed all back to original and the emails came back after about 48 hours.
In the end I changed the main reseller account domain name for testing purposes which obviously worked fine then

I don't use WHMCS anymore so I really can't give you a step by step but I'm going off of memory.

WHMCS does allow a multiple server setup platform the same as modernbill. What I don't know is if you can set the server selection(module) for a specific package. I know this is possible in modernbill though.

Typically this type of stuff is done for putting resellers on one server and shared clients on another.

I'd say check with whmcs support, you may need to switch to moderbill to do this though.

Also, the name servers will have to be different. Like ns1 and 2.domain.com goto one and ns3 and 4.domain.com goto another unless you know how to setup a DNS cluster of sorts

Depending on how much you pull in this may not even be worth it
