set google apps mx records from reseller account?

Hi all,
I just opened a reseller account. For one of the accounts under the WHM, I need to set google apps mx records. As it is reseller, I cannot edit the dns zone for that domain. I have read all the threads about it. How can I proceed to set this up?
Thanks in advance,
regards

Servaas

Google has a good walk-through here: Configuring Your MX Records: WHM

or are you saying that you don't have privileges to change that information?

I know howto do that, have used it for quite some time. But from my WHM, I cannot do "edit dns zone"...I have set only the first one for prio 0 as google claims that should work. But I prefer to set them all, just in case...

ok so what exactly is the issue? You said that you were able to set the first one... do you not have privileges to set the rest...?

well, in WHM I go to DNS functions to edit the zone for a specific domain but I have no "edit zone" there... How am I going to do it?

You will have to open a support ticket and either get support to do the change for you or get them to enable the function for you. They feel it is too much trouble to let everybody just try it out and then need support to get it fixed again, while people who ask for the function tend to know a bit more about it.

While you are at it you will notice that your reseller account will not be included in the domains on your list. It can be included BUT you will loose the bandwidth/space allocation that comes EXTRA to your reseller space.

Not that it's too much trouble but it definitely would create inefficient/additional work load that otherwise would not exist.
