Is 61 acting a fool again, or is it me?

I think 61 is down again. Someone did email me earlier in the week and said that it'd go down every day for two weeks (I think she's exaggerating the every day thing), but this is the first time I've seen it, and just when I wanted to update my site too.

Anyone else having issues?

I am doing some emergency maintenance on mysql on the server. This should be fixed in the next 20-30 minutes. The server otherwise is up and running. But there are a few (~18) mysql tables which have crashed and need to be repaired from the command line

Notification?

Then why the heck weren't we notified via the Reseller Notifications forum regarding this?

I've got a very large email campaign under way for a client, another client has a forum that is gearing up for a lot of traffic (relatively high that is, nothing that will tax the server), and a third that is asking about when to do some major updates.

This is EXACTLY the kind of event I would expect to have a mention in the Reseller hosting notifications board.

Please make a reseller notification forum post part of the standard procedure for any activities likely to impact the users so we have answers to our customers BEFORE they ask why "XYZ" isn't working or why something is taking so long.

I have had some random DB access problems for my SMF forum today and yesterday and I am concerned that some of my emails being sent using phpList may be failing or that hte mail process may be interrupted due to DB access problems.

MySQL has up and down all morning but is now completely down. All my client's sits are completely down because all use a MySQL backed package.

W...T...F?

Yes I have another ticket submitted (DUC-474883) not that it helps any to submit tickets, because my previous ticket (FVV-861481) was supposed to have fixed this issue.

Again, I ask....... Why are these issues not posted to the reseller notifications board? I had to find out about this issue by an automated email from one of my sites when a customer tried to use it and the web site failed, sending the admin a failure notice.
