Pass 3 - anyone else having problems?
Surpass updated the SQL4 to SQL5 and the PHP4 to PHP5 - of which we were advised. Parts of my OSCommerce crashed and burned, one major problem was fixed by reverting it back to version 4 but the search function still errors. The search funtion is reasonably important on a site with lots of products.
I've also lost the ability to collect my email through Outlook - this is a real pain ! I couldn't send for a day either, but at least that bit is fixed. I'm running a business on my site and fortunately I have several domains so I can forward from the 'broken' one to another that is working - still not ideal but at least I can collect email in outlook again. I'm up to level 3 support - which is always painfully slow - give me level one any day, they may not know as much but at least they let you know they don't know enough - and quickly LOL. Level 3 can take 24 hours between replies - oh look another day gone. *sigh* So is anyone else having Pass 3 problems this week? |

quick!
before the net crashes again!
Let's try this again... Pleased to be on PHP5.2x -cuts out many security concerns etc. PASS3 appears to have been twitching this morning. I expect that they are working on it -hopefully it's not me. It was like this when I found it this morning! I expect to use .htaccess to redefine the php handler to use PHP4 where needed...
