Lightbulb master reseller

Hello,

We want to sell reseller hosting under reseller hosting. Is there any software that can be do it? Essentially we want to provide Surpass reseller plans to our customers. But we don't want to they can be change WHM/Cpanel password and email. Please don't suggest a dedicated server.

There is a way to do this but you need a WhmReseller V3 and I'm not certain surpass offers this or plans to offer this type of WHM Reseller panel in the future.

I was sorta wanting to get into this too but not for the fact of reselling TONS of reseller accounts.

I simply wanted to create one WHM Reseller off my reseller account for my business partner to place some of her clients on for sites that she personally manages for them.

Anyways would be nice but I'm not expecting them to offer this anytime soon.

The only way to do this would be on a dedicated server. The only other thing I would think of would be to purchase the plans individually for your customers, but that would be losing you money and support would be pretty hard (you would have to support the customers)

there are lots of other companies offering this with their reseller account packages.

I would guess this would case a high amount of load on the server though.

Anyways it's just a nice feature that some hosts offer but surpass does not.

Have you considered a dedicated server?

I cannot pay $4,675.00 yearly(or more) for dedicated server(I calculated it as your offers(Dual-Core Dual Xeon Woodcrest 1.8GHz, 4096 MB Ram, 2 x 250 GB SATA, Cpanel...)).
I know what you provide dedicated servers that have too low hardware, too. But we cannot give a good service with them.

Also our sales and revenue is too low. So our budget, too. Reseller hostings are the best solution for us now.

Thank you.

Thank you. But it requires root access. So we cannot use it on a reseller account.

I'm not aware of any plans to support reselling of reseller accounts on reseller servers. Sorry

I asked about this a few years back when I first joined surpass..

basically their explanation at the time, was that if you had reseller accounts able to sell reseller accounts, then you would end up with a situation of having to deal with instead of for example, my server having 234 sites/domains hosted on it, there would be over 600 or so..

This would even cause that server you mentioned above to run ragged, since you have people that would load up sites that are generally POS's and crappy scripts and what not.

I know it sounds like a good idea to have resellers within resellers, but honestly, do you want more uptime issues then there already are??

my server I have complained about several times in the past two weeks, due to someone scripts running wild...

I would say if you want to offer resellers that have resellers ability, start off with a smaller server, or try a vps. you can always grow up from a VPS.
