The server is up and running fine. You were blocked by the firewall:

rootpass61 [/etc/csf]# grep 72.24.xxx.246 csf.deny
72.24.xxx.246 # lfd: 5 (htpasswd) login failures from 72.24.xxx.246 - Thu Jul 3 17:46:05 2008

I have removed the block now

Dang.... I paused an adwords campaign because I thought the server was down. Sooooo any idea why on earth I would have been blocked by the firewall randomly in the middle of the day?

I was creating some apache .httaccess credentials (failed once) but that shouldn't cause a complete access ban. What kicked off the ban? I need to know so this doesn't happen again.

According to the logs, there were 5 failed login attempts, and that is why it blocked you. I added your ip to the csf.ignore file, so that it will ignore any further failed login attempts from your ip

Is there a time limit after which the auto blocking expires? I don't want my customers who cannot remember their httaccess password getting banned. Is there any way to give me a notification that one of my domains initiated an auto ban? Some sort of email to the admin account would be necessary so that I know something went wrong, instead of chasing down the wrong path.

And the server just went down and back up again. I am spending $4 / DAY on PPC ads. How am I to know if my domain will happen to be reachable when I get a click through? Google just rejected one of my ads because my domain happened to not be available when the ad was reviewed (by a bot). What is the problem with this server?
