anyone use enom with WHMCS here? My question is do I need to deposit money in my newly created enom account(free through surpass) or can I just put a credit card in so when people order domains it just bills my CC on an as needed basis?

Last time I checked you were required to put in a $100 deposit to begin registering domains. But I haven't worked in sales in a while, hopefully someone else can confirm/deny

Confirmed they still require $100 initial deposit to get the account started

Ranz- its worthwhile if you maintain a portfolio of 15-30+ domains. If you haven't already obtain an account from our sales team so you can poke around, this is free, just to begin using it you must deposit $100.

that sucks, I got the free account thinking I could use it to sell domains... didnt know I had to have $100 in it

are there any registrars that are pay as you go or pay as the domains are bought? I dont expect a high volume of purchases from my site but still want to offer the option to buy it when signing up for hosting.

over at whmcs.com they have 2 have either and enom or directi account for selling domains, I use the direct I for my domains, as you get the free privacy which btw is a 7 dollar value at most places!!!!!

that alone will help raise sales for domains.

edit: forgot to mention that with the directi, you can put in as low as 5 dollars, but you will need to have your account with at least 20 bucks if your going to get into domain selling.. also when you set yourself up, it says your the registrar which is nice..

I'll have to check that out. Do you get those options with the free surpass whmcs account?

edit: I just checked it out and all I see available is enom or reseller club, both of which require a large initial deposit
