subdomain question

Hi All,
Sorry for the noob question, but this is a first time situation for me.
I have a client that hosts with me - lets call her myclient.com. She had another company make a small e-store website for her.
They asked me if I could create a subdomain - e-store.myclient.com
However, they want to host those e-store pages on another server (not under my reseller account).
Other than creating the subdomain, what do I need to do and is this even possible?

We can create a CNAME or A record to point to another server for a sub domain. Open a ticket and we can set that up for you. We will need to know the IP address or hostname for the server it is going to be pointing to. You will want to remove the subdomain first.

DNS propagation can take 2-24 hours (sometimes longer).
