Happy Holidays first of all -

I am starting a new hosting business and would like to offer new clients a promotion code of $1 for the first month and lets say $8 thereafter. I put in whmcs promotion screen one for a fixed amount of -$7 because that is the only way I could figure out to accomplish this. I set the cycle to monthly on the promotion. I did a test order with than plan and applied the promo code and it did subtract $7 from my $ 8 plan as planned. I was redirected to Paypal to pay and it setup a subscription as I wanted for $8/month plan. Paypal charged me $8 though instead of $1 like whmcs states. The whmcs invoice and all says it charged $1 when Paypal took out $8. On the test clients account in whmcs it shows they now have a credit of $7 on their account.

Sorry for such a long post but I am very confused.
