I am a new reseller. For me to "host" someones domain, all they have to do is point their domain at my DNS? How do I host someones domain?

Please make you question more clear. Do you want to resell domains as well?

1. If I did, how would I do that?

2. If I didnt, how can I let people transfer domains they already own so that they can use them with my hosting

1. You need to get a reseller account from one of the major domain companies around. I think there are only a few real companies all others are resellers.

2. They just have to point the DNS to their server. Nothing big really

Umm...

To host someone else's domain, you have to set up an account for them via your Webhost Manager (yousite.com:2086) and have them point the dns servers to either surpass's or your own custom DNS (depends on which reseller plan you have. I know silver plan and up can have custom DNS, i.e. NS1.yourreseller.com, NS2.yourreseller.com)

They don't need to transfer anything anywhere, all they need to do is login to their domain manager (most registrars have one) and change the DNS.

I believe Karam already covered this, and I just repeated some stuff but yeah, who cares?
