That gets a little more complicated than building a normal webpage there. I believe that PHP-Nuke might be what you are looking for, as it has a members only section available in it. But, I am not familiar with that whatsoever, so you might need one of the other guys/gals here with experience in it to help you. It should be an option to install on your website under Fantasico.

Jim,

If you are attempting to run something similar to this forum we are in, then you need to install one of the forum apps. Like Invision. What you are asking isn't really clear to me. But, I imagine that what you are asking would be a little difficult with straight html.

It looks like you want something that uses a database and something else that can read/write/search to it.

PHP and an SQL database are what you need. Many of the options in your fantastico will allow you to do this.

Jim
What you need to do is build a database using php and sql (if you dont know how exactly but you know php and sql i can help you, as i write my own db's). Otherwise you can use a web program like Post Nuke or programs like it which have built in member database. If you know PHP and SQL its really not that complicated to do! Otherwise just use a pre scripted CMS.

or if you want to do some homework and do it yourself. There are plenty of articles to get you started with php sessions and user authentication on different php sites (phpcomplete and such).

Enigma's right -- it's pretty easy as far as scripts go, and it would probably be a good exercise to dive into PHP a little more; I guess it all depends on what your time requirements are.
