I'm a self-taught html'r and that may be the problem.

I have most pages where the pictures are fairly well-spaced, but once in a while, I get a page where the pictures squish together. They are the right thumb-nail size, but not spaced well. I presume this has to do with my coding. Can someone check and see if they can determine where I've screwed up? :dongget:

exampe of page where pictures are fine

example of page with close pictures:

Thanks!!

Your table columns are using a width percentage now, which automatically adjusts as the browser size changes. It looks fine with my browser close to max screen resolution (1024*768), but as I make my browser smaller, they get much closer. Try changing those percentages to pixels. Just drop the % afterwards.

As for what size? Well, play around with different values and you will see what looks best. Too big and everyone has to always scroll left to see the rest of the page, and too small, and your pictures bunch together.

patrickb,

It's actually best to use relative values (%) everywhere possible. If she has a 1024x768 resolution and uses absolute values for her width to match her resolution; then people with say 800x600 will not see the full layout and have to use the horizontal scrollbar to view everything.
