Mailserver Problems on D23 - Page 2

Emmanuel. I am subscribed to this thread but there has been no posts since 9/23/2003... So... Someone needs to let me know of these things, eh? How long will the server be down? When will it go down? I need to knwo to tell my clients...

Professionally speaking, tell your clients right now that "I've analyzeid the problem with our data center techs, and we're going to upgrade the server to avoid further problems. Stand by for a date and time for that upgrade".

That always helps.

A while back, I suggested the calander should be used. I'm not sure if v2 has it, but server upgrades would be a good thing to add no? :p

True, but it may help visually if there was a way to see planned maintenance at a glance. I kinda like the idea

The server upgrade has not been done yet

In post I said keep an eye on the dime23 thread for updates on the upgrade and move

Kayla,

I can appreciate your not wanting to increase your already hevy workload. However, I still have not seen any kind of notice about the impending upgrade on D23 in it's server notification thread... Can I please get a server upgrade report? i.e., what will it's new configuration be? I'd like to let my clients know what we're getting so that I can promote the better service to not only them but to new clients as well.
