My apologies. Indeed, I am subscribed to that thread and as I mentioned there has been no activity on that server's forum for nearly a year... So, you'll excuse me if I sound a tad non-optimistic about being notifed about, well, anything.

can you at least tell me what the new server config will be? I'd like to inform MY clients.

When they upgrade, they do it very well.

It's now 10:22pm on Friday evening of August 27. I did not see any notification about D23 getting upgraded... Is it happening? I've told my clients it is... Anyone? Is there a way to tell based on cPanel or something the config of the server?

And now it's 8:45am on Monday August 30th and I have ALREADY received 2 CALLS from clients saying that they cannot retrieve email... What is going ON?
