me either. waiting on a response. It was the TWC circuit that died - same one that took the hit during the DDOS last week.

I am forced to agree here. The reason that was expressed to me was as follows:

Greetings,

We are having packet loss issues with a few of our servers. Everything should be ok in about thirty minutes. Thank you for helping us keep up on things, its appreciated.
Packet loss issues is one thing. Complete downtime is another. I have been a big defender of Surpass, but what is the real reason here? I too am scared to resell anything lately.

EDIT:
Packet loss issues... I almost want to laugh at that one...

How many outside connections are there from the data center?

I know how you feel. I have lost about all my customers this week due to all this down time. It is so bad, even my friends who I host for free left me, to think we actually pay for this service?

I suppose this means that once again... it's not Surpass' fault...?

I am sure tired of hearing that... I have one client that called me today (right after I sent an email again for him to approve the changes... that's twice now this has happened and I look like a jerk) anyway... he said either I move him to a new host or he will do it himself.

several. But it seems that auto-failover (BGP routing) between the providers is not working. If I trace now I'm coming over a sprint link. Typically over a TWC link.

Shared servers were down too... I'm not sure how reliable the "status page" is. Iv'e been there MULTIPLE times when my site was down and it still shows green. And this downtime is starting to make me mad, it's been happening A LOT lately and Iv'e been as patient as I could, didn't ask for the free month or any of that junk... I just want my site up more often.

This makes the second weekend I've had my butt chewed by a client. My clients are mostly realtors... very difficult people to deal with, and when a prospective buyer can't access their listings they don't want to hear about DDOS attacks, power failures, etc. One of them has already told me flat-out that she wants me to put her site somewhere, anywhere but where it is now, and have it moved by Monday night. Whew.

I hope nothing changes from this point on...I am getting the best traces I have ever gotten. I'm getting 36ms to my site when it usually goes 150. The CPanel has never been this fast either...rofl.
