I just did a full site backup and downloaded the 250MB backup file in less than 15 minutes. If it remains like this and no more downtime for the rest of the year I would be satisfied rofl....but...yeah...who am I kidding right?

Kayla...you guys are seriously losing me here.
The free month was only reseller and shared... those of us who pay the BIG bucks got a week... though she WAS nice and gave me two weeks.... which in NO WAY compensates for the loss of clients or those I had to give refunds to.

I think I am already gone... BassDaddy has found a promising possibility.

The thing that I'm wondering about is the fact that when I joined Surpass everything was great, no problems. And about a week ago, right somewhere a little before the hurricane. All these problems started to pop up (mainly downtime), was it always like this? Did I just join at a good time? I'm frustrated with the downtime, but seeing as my site isn't very big, isn't a re-seller, and dosen't have much content atm, I'm not "mad mad". But when I think of being a re-seller, whose customers rely on uptime to be happy... I feel geniunely sorry for them, I feel mad enough with NO customers.

Thankfully, the only productive site I have on my reseller account is Lindavester.net. No one cares about my blog, my reviews of bad movies, or my music so I'm not as irked as everyone else. However, it will take a lot more than this to make me want to leave. I've been to hosts in the past that were so horrific that I can't really describe them (small children may be reading this...or muppets).

Surpass is still good in my book. They got everything back up and running faster than any of the hosts I've used in the past.

I am curious as to what happened though, and what steps are being taken to prevent it in the future. Especially since I'm moving closer and closer to wanting a dedicated box. Not being able to get to my sites, the hosts site, or the status center page is not good.
