Actually I believe that you need to email support and get them to setup the nameservers, because I don't think it is done automatically. Mine weren't setup automatically (and still aren't setup for that matter
never asked for it). Once they set them up and your DNS propagates, then you can use the custom nameservers...

Part of this response is an assumption, so I will take the chance.
DNS takes IP addresses (xxx.xxx.xxx.xxx) and gives (resolves) them to a name (abc.com). Your custom DNS servers (ns1cheapwsh.com & ns2cheapwsh.com) are names that STILL need to be resolved by a DNS server. Your DNS servers also have IP addresses assigned to them. There exists a symbiotic relationship with DNS servers that use names. They still need another DNS server to recognize their existence. Once all of the communication has propagated throughout the DNS server community, a website or (named) DNS server will be live. Basically, it takes time. There are several posts that might make this clearer. Machinery prefers numbers to letters. |

Sounds like a typo in the email. WMH should display the actual amount, as that is what comes from the configuration files!

I will explain it below .... by the way this is also in the email we send to resellers, I always encourage to be read but people still don't read it
![]() If you Ordered the silver plan or higher You get your own nameservers, We already set them up on the server. However you still need to register them at your registrar here is the Info needed information to register them: ns1.YOURdomainHERE.com 69.57.173.10 ns2.YOURdomainHERE.com 69.57.173.11 Please understand there is a difference between registering a DNS and registering a domain. Custom DNS has a TWO step process. 1. We set them up on server to be recognized, which we did. 2. You register the ns1 / ns2 with the respective ip's above with your registrar. P.S. 69.57.173.10 / .11 is assuming you are on that server, so refer to that email ![]() YOU don't have to use them if you don't want to, You can ALWAYS use the default DNS in the email we sent you they will always work. Please go to where you registered your Domain and use the two ip's above to register your DNS. The only people who can register a dns for a domain is the company you registered the domain with. We have already set up the server. YOU MUST REGISTER THE DNS FIRST BEFORE THEY OPERATE. IF YOU DON'T KNOW HOW TO PLEASE CONTACT THE COMPANY YOU REGISTERED THE DOMAIN WITH OR YOU CAN REGISTER A NEW DOMAIN WITH US AT WWW.surpassdomains.COM AND inside the domain panel you can create and build nameservers easily ![]() |
