5/26/04 3:15pm EST:
Sea will be down for about 20 minutes for a hard drive addition. This downtime is scheduled to occur at 5:00pm EST. This will help to resolve the issues with some people reporting the / partition is full. Thanks

Sea is currently being upgraded to
Dual Xeon 2.4 2gb RAM downtime will last a maximum of 30 minutes. We apologize for the short notice. We are doing this upgrade at 3:00 am EST which is less traffic for most users. We hope it doesn't cause too much inconvenience This upgrade will help overall server performance for the websites which grow with time on the servers. You should also see a drop in loads. thank you for your continued support |

Please read the information below carefully if you are located on this server.
The old IP is 66.194.152.197 The new IP is 72.29.75.107 VERY IMPORTANT STEP: If you do not get to complete this step, your site will not go down, but we would appreciate it if you make the change (as explained here in Extra Notes: IP Changes : ns100/ns101). Please update your domain's DNS to the following: ns735.dizinc.com ns736.dizinc.com Any domain you host on this server, whether it is parked or add-on, please change the DNS of that domain to the DNS above. If you registered the domain with us you can make this change at http://www.surpassdomains.com Otherwise, you need to make this change at the site where you registered the domain. If you go to your site and you see a cPanel page that reads "No website configured at this address" that means your local computer is trying to load your site on the old IP. Simply restart your PC, modem or router so it can release it from cache. P.S. If you are using an SSL or have a static IP email e surpasshosting.com with your domain name so we can assign you a new static IP and make sure your SSL is working correctly. |

If you have WebCalendar installed, send_reminders.php has been disabled at the server level to prevent outsiders from sending spam through your domain.
More info here [1] http://surmunity.com/showthread.php?t=15375 [2] http://secunia.com/advisories/16528/ An upgrade to the newest version is required. |
