A seperate IP address is assigned to each server and to the primary and secondary DNS servers. You may want your own IP address if you'd like to have a secure (https) section on your site, or for other various reasons.
How much are static/dedicated/private IP addresses? Dedicated server customers: $2 a month per IP Reseller account customers: $3 a month per IP Shared account customers: $4 a month per IP Additional Services Order Form: https://www.surpasshosting.com/services/add-ons/ Bulk IP Requests If you would like 4 or more additional IP addresses, you will need to fill out an IP request form.
