Not sure what this new talk about Twitter and how to "follow" Surpass Announcements on it, no worries, with this simple tutorial you'll not only be a fellow "tweeter", but you'll be following Surpass and many more!

First, lets go to the main website at Twitter: What are you doing? . Once there, you'll see a banner telling you what Twitter is and how to use it, of course you are more then welcome to read it, before proceeding with the tutorial. After you're done with that, you'll have to register an account.



After that quick process, you'll be brought to your own homepage where there is a box asking "what your are doing" and links on the side. This is your Twitter page! Now in order to follow Surpass, please follow this link below:

Under the image, you will notice a button that says "Follow", click it. That was all! Easy no?



Going back to your homepage you can view everyone that you follow by clicking the link "Following" in your right hand side bar menu.



Now wasn't that super easy? How about you try following out people who interest you! Watch, in not time you might have a nice group of "followers" yourself...haha.

It can get a little addicting after a while, but its fun...lol.

So i got a twitter account however the service isn't really that great.

For one it takes a bit to add a post and the website doesn't properly update.

When I tried to erase an update it took forever to do so and after i thought it was erased. I refreshed the page to find the old update still existed and was never actually erased.

If you ask me the whole twitter service could use some work as it doesn't work properly.

Ok so i tried to refresh the twitter website and now i get this error message.



Looks like a service you can't actually depend on to work 100% of the time. I was going to use it to provide updates if my site is ever down but appears I can't even trust it for that.

Time to find a different service that is 100% up.

Well you probably caught them at a time that they are working on the site. Nothing in life is perfect. I've used Twitter now for probably a month and half now and have had no problems. My post show up quick on both my twitter page and website.

So currently they are having technical issues, what website doesn't sometimes?

Err, weren't you getting a lot of 500 errors the other day? Or wait, that was Keleigh. Yeah... from what I've read Twitter hasn't exactly been a service with awesome uptime. I'd seriously consider using Pownce before Twitter... it at least has awesome file sharing and stuff.

did you guys hear about the story where the grad student from the states got arrested in Egypt and on his way to jail all he did was twitter "Arrested" and his friends, who knew he was in Egypt knew he was in trouble and they helped him out.... either way, thats pretty fresh dontcha think??
