ZenCart is a very powerful and useful tool for anyone trying to start their own online business. With so many features to count, I know that once you start using you won't ever want to stop!

Installing ZenCart!

In Fantastico scroll down to the category E-Commerce and click on the link that says ZenCart.



You will then be taken to the overview page. Click on the New installation link.



On the next page, be sure to fill out all of the information asked for and click the submit button. You will then be taken to the next step where they will show you what is being created and processed. The last page will show you what has been made and the admin link to the admin panel will be here. On this page you will also be able to email yourself the details on the installation for future records.



Remember on the overview page you are able to see all current installations and also may view the main page from the links given there.



Using ZenCart!

Clicking on the admin link in the final installation page, you will be taken to the login area automatically. Fill in your details and click enter.



You will then be taken to the admin panel home page.



Starting out in the left hand side, you will notice the category called Configuration. Hover over it and the drop down menu will appear. Pretty long I know, but click on the first link: My store.



Here is where you give your online store a name and set up the main configurations of the store itself.



After making the necessary changes and getting your store ready for live use, you can check out how it looks by clicking on the link in the right hand corner that says: Online catalog.



You'll be taken to the homepage, at the moment it is using the default skin that comes with the script, but in due time you can change all that to your liking!
