[Tutorial] Using FAQ Master Flex Plus!

FMFP is a great tool to use when creating an easy to use FAQ page. In this tutorial I'll show you how to install it via Fantastico and how to use this very easy to setup FAQ script.

Installing FMFP

Once in Fantastico (Located in your cPanel), scroll down to the category named FAQ and click on the link FAQMastFlexPlus.

On the overview page click on the new installation link.

The next page is where you will fill out all of your login details and also where you would like the installation to be installed in. (ie: domain.com/faq)

The last install overview page is where the link to the admins panel is and everything that was created and installed into the directory you created. You are even able to email the contents of that page to yourself below in the email input box. Good to have for records and backup.

Using FMFP

Clicking on the admin panel link on the last install page, you'll be taken to login page. Enter your info and click the submit button.

On the admin panel, you'll notice that its pretty basic. Looks easy no? Well it is. Click on the add category link. This is where you will create sections for your FAQ page. (ie: Gallery, Website, Hosting, General Questions...)

Once created it will show up on the admin panel page under the default category. Click your newly created category and you will be taken to the page where you will create the questions and answers. On this page click on the link that says add new FAQ to [name of your category].

A pop-up window will appear. Two text boxes will be present for you to type in for the question and answer.

When you have written it out, click on the submit button and the window will close and your page will automatically refresh, showing the newly added FAQ.

To test it all out, go to the link of the FAQ page and test everything out to see how it'll work as if you just a viewer. Pretty neat, no?
