[Tutorial] Using Template Express!

Looking for unique and well created templates for your website? Well look no further, there is a neat feature in Fantastico that helps you out!

Installing the Template

In Fantastico scroll down to the category called Site Builders and click on the link called Templates Express.

On the overview page click on the new installation link.

You will be taken to a page with a list of categories for you to choose from.

If you would like to view all of them, click on the link that says view all at the bottom and a new page with all of the templates will appear. This will help you a little better when picking out the template you want to use.

Once you have chosen the one you'd like to use, click on the link under that templates and you will be taken to the details page, where you will fill in the name of website and where you'd like it uploaded to.

Once you have done that you will be taken to the last installation page where it explains everything that has been created. You are able to email these details to yourself. Great idea for keeping records.

Clicking on the website's link on that page will take you to see the layout live. Looks great, no?

Now you're probably wondering how you will edit the pages, this is where FTP comes in. Log into your FTP account and find the folder you installed everything in, you will notice the most basic of pages already created with the template. Now download the files on to your computer and open the HTML files with your favorite HTML editor and you'll be all set!
