This thread is a timeline for all events occuring to the server SH78.

Each time this server has an issue it will be posted here.

If you use any of the following scripts:

FA-PHPHosting
PHPClique
PHPCalendar
PHPCurrently
PHPFanBase
PHPQuotes

Please disable them immediately or use the fix specified below. There are serious exploits going around the net right now and have been for the past few months. All of these scripts are made by http://codegrrl.com/ and have a ridiculously easy hole in them:
"

include($logout_page);
"
This allows an attacker to include whatever code they wish into the php file and run the commands.
To avoid getting your site defaced, we recommend you either remove the protection.php file asap, or edit it and remove that line above.

SH78 was running very slowly and had to be rebooted. It's coming back up now, no worries.

SH78 is still giving problems and we have decided on the best course of action.
at this time we have decided to it down to copy the data over to a new drive. This is the best long term solution to avoid any further uneeded downtime or data loss. We understand it is cuasing an inconvenience however we want to solve the issue now and put the issues to rest.

The downtime to complete the data migration will be 3-4 hours. We will keep you updated. At this time we ask you do not submit more tickets and to return here for updates.

We appreciate your patience.

Updated, good news, the restore is over and all website should be back online. If you are still having issues now would be the time we ask you to reply to the ticket you sent already. If you haven't yet open any ticket please do so now

Monday night, June 23rd we will be enabling PHP SuExec and upgrading PHP and MySQL to version 5 sh78.surpasshosting.com.

There will be some minimum downtime past 12am EST.
